Chicken Tacos
These are flavorful chicken tacos that are high in protein and perfect for maintaining a calorie deficit without sacrificing taste.

Ingredients
- 16oz chicken tenderloins
- 1.5 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1.5 medium bell peppers, sliced
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- Cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- Half a block of 1/3 fat cream cheese (Philadelphia)
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 Mission street taco tortillas
- Half a bag (98g) of Mexican style cheese
- 1 packet McCormick taco seasoning 30% less sodium
Instructions
- Season the chicken tenderloins with taco seasoning and smoked paprika.
- On medium/high heat, cook the chicken pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side in a pan.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, chopped onion, chopped jalapeño, lime juice, and chopped cilantro to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add minced garlic, cream cheese, and water to the pan. Mix well and let it cook for another 3 minutes.
- Assemble the mixture into 6 taco tortillas and place them in a baking pan.
- Top with half a bag of Mexican style cheese.
- Bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes.
Notes
Serving Suggestion: Serve with 0 calorie Taco Bell hot sauce as a dipping sauce.
